Buildings that breathe

What if buildings could come alive?

For artist and designer Jason Bruges, architecture is more than bricks and mortar. His installations transform public spaces into living, responsive environments, where light, movement and technology combine to create moments of unexpected wonder.

From an illuminated forest in Beijing, shaped by the movements of passers-by, to a canopy of light in Seoul that responds to the changing weather, Bruges creates work that blurs the boundaries between art, architecture and the natural world.

In this mini documentary, he explores the creative possibilities of technology, the importance of human interaction and why the most extraordinary spaces are those that make us feel something.
